Auralex S-Core Panels
The Enviro-Friendly Alternative to Fiberglass Acoustic Panels

Auralex S-Core is made of recycled cotton core with black/white scrim on either side. It has a Class A fire rating and comes in 2'x2'x1" panels that can substitute for raw 3-6 lbs 1" fiberglass when used for acoustic treatment (not for use as wall insulation).

Fiberglass wall panels can dry out after a few years, creating dust particles that become airborne, and this can affect the environment in a studio. Auralex S-Core is easy to work with, it does not irritate the skin, and it's environmentally friendly!

Common Uses:

Acoustical Panels - Hang S-Core panels on the wall as is (choose white or black side as face) or wrapped in acoustical fabric for broadband absorption
Space Coupler Backing - Insert S-Core behind Space Couplers or SCREEN6 for additional absorption and to provide a black or white backing
T'Fusor Stuffing - Insert S-Core in the back of T'Fusors for additional sound absorption
